Homelessness Redefined: Life at The Gap

When we made the comment on Facebook that we were "officially homeless", it seemed that other people didn't want to accept the fact.  We got responses like "your home just has wheels" and "home is where you set your backpack".  Although we appreciate the comforting sentiments, we're actually thrilled to death to be "homeless".

And so our journey begins...

The moment we've been working for is finally here.  It's still a little surreal and will take some time to sink in.  We've quit our jobs, bought a van, sold everything we could and donated the rest.  Our possessions have been thinned down to what we can fit in our backpacks and our van. Read more

Street Painting in Kayenta

We were lucky enough to catch this cool little Festival that takes place every year in the a little art village called Coyote Gulch located in Kayenta in Southern Utah. Several artists came from all over to create some amazing works of art. The really amazing part of all of this was realizing that each and every one of these art pieces were only temporary. Road Trip to Jerome AZ: Wine, Roads and Ruins

Last weekend, we took a road trip with our good friends Dallin and Nadya to Jerome, Arizona.

Why Jerome you ask?

 

Well, it's quite simple actually... maybe.  You see, there's a band I (Josh) have been obsessed with over the last several years my life- TOOL.   Maynard James Keenan is the singer for Tool as well as a few other bands like A Perfect Circle and Puscifer.  So... Maynard has moved to the small town of Jerome, Arizona to start Merkin Vineyards and make wine under the label Caduceus Cellars.
